Innovative technologies for the car of the future highlighted in the Portuguese press
Several media have featured the technological innovations developed under PPS2 of GreenAuto, a Mobilising Agenda aimed at transforming the Portuguese automotive industry.
In addition to news in the press, namely in Executive Digest, O Povo Famalicense (page 9 of the newspaper), Terras do Homem and E24, the PPS2 Project, leveraging CeNTI’s know-how, was featured on the programme 'Isto faz-se por cá' on the radio station RTP Mundo.
The articles, including an interview with CeNTI researchers, showcase solutions designed to make the vehicle interior smarter, more comfortable and more efficient. These include the «thermal bubble» concept, enabling personalised climate control through radiant surfaces, as well as suction-based device mounting systems with integrated wireless charging.
These technologies, developed with the participation of consortium entities such as Simoldes Plásticos and Stellantis, aim to position the car as a true 'third living space', where technology, comfort, and personalisation come together to deliver a new mobility experience with enhanced energy efficiency.
The GreenAuto Project is funded by the European Commission's Recovery and Resilience Facility.
