Description:

CeNTI is strengthening the Functional Materials department.

We are looking for a motivated professional to develop innovative solutions for industry, focusing on mechanical recycling processes, the extraction of active compounds and the recovery of raw materials through the valorisation of biomass, waste and/or by-products.

The selected candidate will participate in R&D activities in the field of the circular economy, using technologies already implemented at CeNTI and contributing to the development and implementation of new processes at laboratory and pilot scale.

These activities will be carried out within R&D projects aimed at the application and transfer of processes and technologies to an industrial context.

 

Specific requirements:

- M.Sc. or equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry or a related field;
- Solid experience in mechanical recycling, shredding and extraction processes;
- Knowledge of sustainability analysis and life cycle assessment of materials and processes will be valued;
- Fluency in spoken and written English.

 

Specific skills:

- Critical thinking and strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proactivity, autonomy and results orientation;
- Motivation to work in multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong organisational and management skills, ensuring compliance with deadlines;
- Strong sense of responsibility, technical rigour and commitment to high-quality and reliable results;
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with industrial and scientific partners;
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different R&D challenges.

Description:

CeNTI is strengthening the Functional Materials department.

We are looking for a motivated professional to contribute to the development and optimisation of processes for producing new raw materials, with a particular focus on scaling up innovative solutions from laboratory scale to industrial implementation.

The selected candidate will participate in R&D activities involving the implementation and optimisation of chemical processes at pilot scale, using, among other technologies, solid–liquid and liquid–liquid separation techniques.

These activities will be carried out within R&D projects aimed at the application and transfer of processes and technologies to an industrial context.

 

Specific requirements:

- M.Sc. or equivalent in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field;
- Solid experience in chemical processes and in process development or optimisation;
- Knowledge of recycling, extraction and/or chemical synthesis processes and technologies will be valued;
- Experience in operating pilot-scale reactors will be valued;
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
