Description:
CeNTI is strengthening the Functional Fibres department.
We are looking for a motivated professional interested in Polymers, particularly in the areas of processing, characterisation, and fibre production through melt-spinning extrusion.
The selected candidate will be challenged to develop new polymer structures and textile fibres for application across different sectors, and partake in different stages of an R&D project, including management, development, testing, and technology transfer to industry, within the framework of projects funded by RPP - Recovery and Resilience Plan and by NextGeneration EU European Funds.
Specific requirements:
- M.Sc. in Polymers, Materials or Textiles Engineering;
- Knowledge/experience in polymers processing;
- Knowledge/experience in melt-spinning process;
- Experience in analytical characterisation techniques: rheological, mechanical, and thermal properties of polymers and fibres;
- Knowledge/experience in yarn drawing and textile treatment processes;
- Knowledge/experience in textiles technologies;
- Good report writing and presentation skills;
- Good communication skills: spoken and written proficiency in English is required.
- Use of the Design of Experiments (DOE) will be valued;
- Experience on R&D national and international projects will be valued;
- Candidates with professional experience will be valued.
