The new building of the Centre for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials has 19 laboratories with cutting-edge technological and scientific resources, enabling the technology and knowledge transfer to business ecosystem. Prepared to turn ideas into reality, they are the epicentre of disruptive innovation that shape the future.

Some of these spaces are unique in Portugal and have highly differentiated technical features, positioning as references in the area. These include laboratories dedicated to batteries, along with a “Dry Room” that stands out due to its humidity levels close to zero, and advanced fibres produced from wood or biomass with low environmental impact and high performance. 

These new labs join others that CeNTI already had and are already renowned in Europe, namely Flexible and Printed Electronics, Tri-Component Thermoplastic Fibres, and High-Vacuum Roll-to-Roll Physical Treatments.
