Transition to the Factory of the Future

The Drivolution Agenda aims to drive a series of advancements that will contribute to the creation of an innovative Factory of the Future, leveraging automation technologies, robotics (Industry 5.0), and IoT (Industry 4.0), with more efficient, eco-friendly, and digital processes to achieve high-value and more sustainable products.

In this context, the project plays a strategic role in fostering synergies and accelerating the adoption of technologically advanced solutions, based on actions that address the challenges underlying the energy transition and digital transformation in the automotive sector.

Main Goals/Activities

Focused on the automotive industry, the Drivolution Agenda is built around five key action areas:

  • Digitalisation
  • Industry 5.0
  • Safety and Ergonomics
  • Materials
  • Specialised and Digital Training

The Agenda comprises 21 Work Packages (WP), which lead to the creation of 12 new Products, Processes, and Services (PPS).

In this context, CeNTI is responsible for PPS13 – Cabling System for Signal, Data and Power Transmission, corresponding to WP21 – Development of innovative electric and data transmission wiring and cabling for the automotive industry.
