Innovative center console with integration of functionalization technologies, new materials and new design concept

The S-Console project aims the development of a new floor central console for the automotive interiors, integration of innovative functionalities, smart materials and communications electronic systems with distinct sensing and illumination. This new console presents an innovative structural design with a higher aesthetic value.

To achieve the best results, the S-Console project comprises a consortium with skills that complements each other: SP that is a company that produces plastic parts for automotive and CeNTI that is an I&I entity that will be the principal stimulator of the I&D tasks, ensuring the Know-How and the best and modern practices/technologies concerning smart and functional materials, communication and control electronic systems, sensing and illumination. CeNTI will also ensure the knowledge transfer to the industrial environment.
