Green4Industry: high-tech innovation to boost the Industry
Boosting the development of value-added solutions focused on Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials and Smart Systems, in the areas of Energy, Transport and Industry is one of Green4Industry - Boosting technology transfer for a sustainable industry - main objectives. It is intended for technological solutions to be sustainable, with an improved life cycle, promoting increased competitiveness and industrial resilience.
In addition, the Project, promoted by CeNTI and focused on Sustainability and Digital Transformation, aims to promote scientific and technological knowledge transfer to the business ecosystem. Green4Industry intends to integrate disruptive technologies into traditional processes, products and services in all sectors by optimising the information-sharing process and fostering synergies.
To this end, the Nanotechnology Centre outlined a set of initiatives and actions to demonstrate, disseminate and valorise the results of the research carried out and their economic exploitation by companies and markets.
The Project is based on the European Green Deal, a sustainable growth strategy that aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and transform the EU into a modern, competitive and efficient economy using resources. The fundamental mission is to improve the well-being and health of citizens and future generations.
Green4Industry is co-financed by Portugal 2020 under the Competitiveness and Internationalisation Operational Programme (COMPETE 2020) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
