
CeNTI participates in the main European high-tech textile fair in Germany
CeNTI was present at Techtextil, the leading European fair for high-tech textiles, which took place in Frankfurt, Germany, from June 21st to 24th. In the initiative, the Nanotechnology Centre presented several innovative and differentiating Projects.
The Wear2Heal, HelpInTex, SmartHealth4All, DIF-Jacket, FDPanel, PAC, Smart Roof Systems, Fiber4Fiber and ISOPREP Projects were highlighted with demonstrators. The InComEss, ASINA, CellOnCell and Green4Industry Projects were also spotlighted.
The Project "Valuing natural leather residues from the automotive industry for the development of innovative textile coverings" won the Techtextil Innovation Award in the "New Approaches on Sustainability & Circular Economy" category. This research was carried out by CeNTI, ERT Têxtil Portugal, CITEVE - Technological Centre for Textiles and Clothing and CTIC - Technological Centre for Leather Industries, within the scope of Texboost Project (PPS5: AN2).
Techtextil annually brings together hundreds of companies, international research centres, and professionals in the fields of functional clothing, technical textiles and nonwovens. The event's success reflects the range of products and application areas represented.
